Association produit en BretagneSince 2010, TRAD Y SEL has been a member of the "Produit en Bretagne" (Produced in Brittany) association, who with its 20 years activism, contributes even more today to maintaining local jobs in our region. The idea is to associate industrials and producers with distributors, and work together to develop short supply routes, through a collective brand. The guiding principle being jobs, many companies who do not work in the food industry are part of the 300 members. There is a real diversity of companies (in size and activity sector) which meet around a common will and interest.
Membership criteria are strict, in terms of quality and ethics, and the association has made them even more so, to maintain its common values.
This will to move forward was further advanced by the creation of a brand, Bretagne excellence, to distribute the best Breton products for export.
This brand open to members of "Produit en Bretagne", groups members from different horizons such as the Glon group, the Hénaff company and, of course, TRAD Y SEL.
For 8 years, TRAD Y SEL has been a member of the FEEF (Fédération des Entreprises et Entrepreneurs de France) or Federation of French Companies and Entrepreneurs. This federation groups small and mid-sized companies of all sizes and their retailer clients. With 600 members, it is an important lobbying force which acts in collaboration with public authorities and other company directors to facilitate commercial relations.
Each year, the federation awards prizes called "grés d'or" (golden awards) to reward and highlight remarkable partnerships between companies and national retailers, for subjects as varied as regional or international development, innovation, sustainable development. A special jury's prize is given to a company in an exceptional partnership. These prizes are well recognised in the retail world.
TRAD Y SEL has received two "grés d'or" : the special jury prize in 2006 for its national partnership with the retailer CASINO, and the "grés d'or" for Sustainable Development in 2009 for being the first to market Guérande salt in a biodegradable and compostable potato starch bag, and for the eco-design of all our range.
